READ RVA has three signature annual events
Held during AEFL Week (Adult Education and Family Literacy) in September, this event is our Fall Fundraiser Gala. A Moveable Feast features a different theme year to year and hosts wine and small plates pairings, a live and silent auction, a student speaker, and more!
The Great Richmond Trivia Bee is a team-based competition for people who love words, pop culture, history, literature – and showing off their random knowledge, all while having a blast! Held at the Dewey Gottwald Center for the past two years, and at the Hippodrome for several years before that, this event is our Spring Fundraiser.
This is our annual donor stewardship event where supporters of READ have an opportunity to meet students and volunteers.
